Dave’s Honey Mustard Meltdown
INGREDIENTS:
4 slices Dave’s Killer Bread 21 Whole Grains and Seeds Bread
2 Tbsp. honey mustard
1 ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 crisp apple (such as Fuji or Honeycrisp), thinly sliced
4 slices turkey
2 Tbsp. butter, softened
instructions:
Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
Spread softened butter on one side of all four pieces of 21 Whole Grains and Seeds bread.
Add bread, butter side down, to preheated skillet. Spread one tablespoon honey mustard on top and sprinkle with 2-3 tablespoons of shredded cheddar cheese. Top with apple slices and turkey and another sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Top with remaining slice of bread, butter side up, and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Carefully flip grilled cheese and cook an additional 3-5 minutes, or until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
Repeat with remaining bread.
Slice grilled cheese and enjoy immediately.
